1. Garnish: Throw them on top of main dishes such as steak, pork, chicken, fish, etc. for a beautiful presentation (especially if you are hosting guests).
2. Salads: Add them into your favorite salads or make them the green for an entire salad.
3. Pizza: One of our favorite things to do is throw it on top of any pizza to add some flavor and texture.
4. Tacos/Sandwiches/Wraps/Burgers: Use microgreens in place of the lettuce. Arugula and radish will give you a little spice.
5. Smoothies: Mild and sweet microgreens (such as peas, sunflowers, cantaloupe) in smoothies can add protein and vitamins.
6. Breakfast: Put them on top of eggs, omelets, or quiches right before you eat them.
7. Avocado Toast: Our kids are big avocado toast fans. Pile those microgreens on top for an even healthier meal/snack.
8. Soups: These are great on top of any soups and stews.
9. Bowls/Stir-Fry/Pasta: Use almost any variety. Add them into a dish right before it's finished cooking or put them on after it's finished.
10. Snack (by themselves): The really hearty greens (pea, sunflower, cantelope) are great to snack on all by themselves.
11. Charcuterie Board: We all love a mouth watering charcuterie board! Place them around the board to add both flavor and color.
11. ADD THEM TO EVERYTHING!! Microgreens are so versatile that they can be added to every meal to add more vitamins and nutrients to your diet.
